The internal redecorating has been completed and the reorganisation of storage and furniture is midway through. Thank you for your help in decluttering and keeping it clear. We love the fresh look and the new wall displays. Our next newsletter will be late April. Continue reading “Group Meetings Update”
The committee welcomes everyone back to any of the following sessions;
We hope that you are all keeping well and staying safe. You may be wondering when Carlbeck will be back in operation at some level.
The management committee held a meeting on 29 June to discuss the possibility of re-opening the Carlbeck Centre.
We regret that at this time there is insufficient evidence to support the safe opening of the building. The committee has a responsibility to all users, but most especially to the more vulnerable members of our groups. We realise the decision will be a disappointment to many, however, we hope you understand that this is for the safety, health and wellbeing of everyone. This decision will be reviewed later in the summer.
We will keep you updated.
Very best wishes
Management Committee, Lunedale Community Association
The sessions have of course been suspended in the Carlbeck Centre, however everyone has been very busy crafting, gardening, exercising, cleaning and decorating and keeping in touch via social media. For a sample of activities, see our Spring Newsletter 2020
